Day of Caring (DOC)

Greater Ottawa County United Way's Volunteer Center is in need of projects and volunteers to work during our annual Day of Caring, which will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008.

Day of Caring is the largest workplace volunteer day in Ottawa County. In one day hundreds of volunteers are mobilized to complete projects throughout our community such as building ramps, reading with kids, painting homes, cleaning parks and much more. Teams come in all sizes and everyone is invited to participate!

"Working at an adult foster care home was so rewarding. We completed projects that would have cost the organization more then they could afford. Plus, it was a great team building opportunity."

Joyce Clegg, Woodland Realty

"Day of Caring is a fun, easy way to make a diffence as a company."

Karen Gardner, ITW Drawform
