2004 Night of 100 Stars Tickets Now Available

March 23, 2004 - Tickets are now available for the Night of 100 Stars volunteer recognition gala presented by Greater Ottawa County United Way & Volunteer Center. At 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2004, the red carpet will be rolled out for the fourth Night of 100 Stars. Over 100 volunteers in the Tri-Cities area will be recognized at the Oscars style event to be held at the Grand Haven High School Performing Arts. Tickets are $8.00 and are now on sale at United Way & Volunteer.

“If you are a volunteer, know a volunteer being recognized, are thankful for volunteers or just want to see what it is all about, anybody is welcome to join us!” Says Megan Pitcher, Producer of United Way & Volunteer Center’s Night of 100 Stars. “This is an incredible show and a wonderful way for us to honor those who spend their time helping the community.” The Night of 100 Stars program consists of a variety of performers, dancers and musicians delighting the audience between award categories. The evening will conclude with a dessert reception featuring local restaurants.

This event will kick off the 2004 National Volunteer Week, April 18-24. National Volunteer Week is dedicated to honoring those who volunteer in our communities and will be celebrated with a number of volunteer events.

Is someone you know getting the “star treatment?” Tickets are on sale at United Way & Volunteer Center for just $8.00. You may send a check or stop by the office at 20 N. Fifth St. (above the Senior Center) to pick up tickets. Contact Megan Pitcher at United Way & Volunteer Center, 842-7130 or atwa@ottawaunitedway.org for more information.
