It’s not the fact that: 67 children mentored in a United Way funded mentoring program over a 2 year period received an average of 4 hours per week of one-on-one mentoring. That is 27,872 hours of individual attention. what matters is: 86% of parents reported positive academic outcomes of their children who were mentored for 2-4 years in a United Way funded mentoring program.
